Global Trash Hash House Harriers Home Page Founded by Larry "Stray Dog" McDowell in 1995. The Global Trash Hash is an annual traveling hash that gets together, sets trail and drinks beer with other hashers around the world. It started as a way for Stray Dog to gather friends and readers of Global Trash and the World HHH Home Page together for an interhash. That is why it was held in the past mostly at Stray Dog's kennel in Ragland, Alabama, on the banks of the Coosa River. However, it has been held in other cities and states in the past and is scheduled to be held in Arizona in two years and outside the U.S. in future years. We have had hashers attend from all points of the globe from Japan to The Netherlands to Switzerland to Egypt to Ethiopia to India to China to Korea, et. al. Since it attacts hashers from around the world and may in fact be held elsewhere in the world in the near future, the Global Trash HHH annual event will be called Global Interhash as of 2005. Any member showing up to one of these annual events is considered a member of the Global Trash Hash House Harriers. Past cohosts include two hashes in Birmingham, AL; two hashes in Huntsville, AL; three hashes in Orlando, FL, and soon the Huachuca HHH and other area hashes in Arizona. We celebrate our 10th Annual event in eleven years in 2005, skipping only one year due to Stray Dog's wife at the time undergoing radical chemotherapy.
